![]() I think these hit the sweet spot between affordability and protection.ĭouble sleeve decks will not fit however, and dragon shield sleeves with 10 tokens is snug but not overly so. I don’t need the security or sturdiness of a Boulder but I want something more reliable than a couple rubber bands. Can you throw a couple into your bag? Sure, as long as you’re not carrying bricks in there it’ll be fine, besides I still have a deck organizer that they go into when traveling anyways. Or I can use Gamegenic Value Matte Sleeves ($10 for 200) and a 100-S box for a dollar, then the deck only cost me $56 to buy, sleeve, and box.ĭo they offer the same protection that a boulder does? No. I can either spend $12 on sleeves and $15 on a deck box bringing the total to about $75 per precon (with purchase of deck). Here is why I like them so much, I have 100 decks, I collect the precons, and they each need a deckbox. I absolutely love the 100-S perfect fit boxes from BurgerTokens. Plus, now everyone I play Magic with knows I am a cultured gentleman with impeccable taste (until they look at the stickers). It still fits in a backpack, so it isn't too much to lug around. Then you can slap stickers all over that bad boy, or, if you are more artistically inclined, you could even paint it! I don't think this would hold the jumbo double-sleeved boxes though.) (Continuing the cheapass theme, I mostly use the plastic Ultra Pro ones, but I have a couple of Boulder boxes that fit just as well. Cool! But then, that box is the perfect size to hold 6 individual EDH deck boxes. If that's the case, there are plenty of other comments that seem like they are offering really good advice.īut if you decide you want to be a total cheapass? Buy one of those wine boxes that holds two bottles of wine. You mentioned that you aren't opposed to shelling out a little money for a nice big multiple deck holder.
